    Facilitates projects and initiatives that improve the service performance and cost position of targeted business activities.  Contribute analytical skills, six sigma tools, lean processes and fresh ideas to projects and initiatives. Assist with the engagement of distribution center leaders as a champion of continuous improvement.




    Continuous Improvement

    1. Use VBA in Excel to automate and improve efficiencies in day to day processes across the business.
    2. Utilize Power BI to maintain company dashboards and reports.
    3. Aid the distribution center with troubleshooting of Microsoft Office issues and problems.
    4. Facilitate systematic problem solving, implementing solutions to solve root-cause problems.
    5. Coach, champion and sometimes lead improvement projects for multiple distribution centers.
    6. Assist with project leadership to include identifying opportunities, defining and financially justifying projects, resources, launching product teams
    7. Assist with identifying integration issues with other projects/processes and coordinate the improvements with the appropriate project leader to accomplish project goals.
    8. Facilitate processes to identify and implement initiatives/projects that reduce costs and improve services to logistics customers.
    9. Learn and use lean tools and principles including value stream maps, kaizen events and 5-s reviews. Lead and/or facilitate continuous improvement projects at distribution centers.


    Education/Certification: Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field from an accredited college or university.


    Experience in operations and/or relevant, proven, and effective experience in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • VBA for Excel
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Excel
    • Analytical skills

    • Conveys information in understandable terms at all levels of the organization and through proper channels
